Our Vehicle Recovery department is managed by Michelle Henderson.

We cover a large percentage of Northumberland and Tyne and Wear from each of our four Garages.

We are members of AVRO (Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators) and the MVRA (Motor Vehicle Repairers Association), we are also ISO 9001 and PAS 43 accredited, so dealing with RS Johnson means Quality and good Service.

Our recovery staff attend regular training courses, including diagnostics and vehicle recovery, using the services of Lucas and the IVR (Institute of Vehicle Recovery).

We employ dedicated recovery operators, control room and administration staff, all of these personnel are experienced, trained and have attended the relevant courses. All our staff have a company uniform and overalls with our own company logo.

Our Recovery Vehicle fleet is smart, modern and well equipped to do the job. We can handle any job from a motorcycle to a seven and a half tonne commercial vehicle. We have specialist motor cycle trailers, four wheel drive off road recovery units, covered transporters, accident units, as well as several spec lifts and transporters.

We carry a large stock of Unipart and fast moving parts at each Garage, therefore helping us to return a broken down vehicle to the road in the shortest possible time.

We currently work for all of the major Motoring Organisations, Northumbria Police, local authorities and several local dealerships.
